New cars are selling in Indonesia

Indonesia's car market is flooded with new cars from the world's leading brands. At the end of this year, consumers presented new models ranging from citycar, hatchback, MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle), to the SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle).

Then from that new car, which immediately get a positive response in the market aka selling?

After discussing the new citycar selling, now turn to the new MPV.

The first is Suzuki Ertiga. This seven-passenger car market was a success. Since its launch last March to October, the Ertiga has been absorbed by the market as much as 26 196 units. Successfully printed on the highest sales in October, which is 5115 units. As for the most popular types are Ertiga GL 1.4 MT.

The same is true for Nissan. The Japanese manufacturer's new MPV which is EVALIA thrusts. Car boxy style (box) it has sold 9156 units (June-October). For the type of selling is EVALIA XV AT 05.01, which terlego 3588 units.

Intense competition not only in low MPV segment. Mazda Motor Indonesia (MMI) made a breakthrough in the middle class MPV. They bring new whiz, Biante at IIMS 2012.

In the past two months (September-October), the car that plotted to scuttle Nissan Serena was already sold 654 units.

Turning to the segment SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle). There are some pretty tempting new cars, such as the Mitsubishi Outlander, the All New Honda CR-V, Mazda CX-5.

During July to October, the Outlander has been absorbed by the market as much as 3582 units, where most sales occur in the last month, which is 998 units.

All New Honda CR-V which was launched Sept. 13 has recorded sales of 2882 units, up from the previous month which sold 798 units. In total, Honda CR-V has sold 10,388 units during the year 2012 with a market share of 21% in the SUV class.

While the CX-5 has now become the second largest contributor to Mazda sales in Indonesia. This car has been terlego 1826 units (May to October), with details of CX-Sport 2.0 AT 247 units and 1579 units for the CX-5 Touring 2.0 AT.
